He disclosed that an astrologer close to Twinkle Khanna's father, the legendary Rajesh Khanna, had foretold Akshay's marriage to Twinkle, a claim Darshan initially dismissed. 'They were worlds apart back then,' he admitted, only to later find the prediction eerily accurate. When probed about the nature of these conditions, Darshan explained, 'Parents naturally seek security for their children, and that's not unreasonable.' Yet, he couldn't help but question the approach, 'I felt it was misguided. Sometimes, we must accept that certain things aren't meant to be.'

When asked if Akshay was heartbroken, Darshan assured, 'He was focused on his career, juggling hits like Dhadkan, Hera Pheri, and Ek Rishta. His heart was in his work.'
